ATN TICO 6 Thermal Clip-On 1X 384x288

Pretty disappointed,...

Pretty disappointed, with the product and BGS. I've been looking for something capable of 1x to scan small fields or maybe be usable indoors. I thought this was perfect for what I wanted and a bonus was that it would clip on and be able to be transferred from gun to gun and not need to be re-zeroed. I was going to just get the 256 but sprung for the 384 based on youtube reviews. The package arrived, looks nice even though it's bulky, and the battery charge is cool showing battery status.But when I clipped it on I noticed the screen is so small in the view that when you look through it (I was using a Vortex LPVO) you have to zoom in to about 3x to get the thermal screen to take the whole picture of the scope view.... that ruins the point of having 1x. You can zoom out but it is a VERY little window to view. Couple that with a VERY small Field of View, this not an answer for home defense or small fields like I had hoped. Dumb of me for not thinking about this but you still need to zero this in on each gun you have, and it doesn't have some crosshair overlay that you can use without an optic.
