The entire Beretta 686...
The entire Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I line is outstanding. All the Beretta quality and world class engineering and finish at an entry level price. The nickel finish receiver and laser engraving is understated and tasteful. The wood grain can vary from slightly figured to fence post, but the satin finish is also nicely understated. At the price point, the wood quality is quite acceptable. The barrel length options are a real plus. Own a 30" 28 gauge, which is an outstanding quail and preserve pheasant gun. Recently purchased two 686 Silver Pigeon I Sporting 12 ga,with 32" barrels to use as a composed pair for driven pheasant, or alone for a great starter sporting clays gun. If well cared for, the guns will last for decades.\r \r The entire line is highly recommended for quality build and value (hand engraving and fancy wood haven't killed a bird yet). Bud's pricing is among the best.
