Lyman’s Large Rifle Gauge helps reloaders quickly confirm their finished cartridges will fit a firearm’s chamber. Loaded rounds are dropped into the gauge; if the cartridge fits the gauge, it is intended to fit the corresponding SAAMI minimum chamber dimensions for the listed large rifle calibers. Each gauge is made from a solid block of 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, machined with custom tooling to SAAMI minimum chamber dimensions, and bright orange anodized for easy visibility. Caliber markings are engraved on the gauge for quick identification.
