Overall, this is a solid sight for the money. That said there are some things that did not live-up to my expectations. I read multiple reviews before purchasing the Lucid sight, and the vast majority of them were very positive. I have been disappointed in two area, holding zero and battery life. As for holding zero, the sight (at least the one I have) does NOT hold zero when switching reticles. The difference has been enough to eat a box of 5.56 before getting it back to zero. Yes, this may be an user issue, but most reviews claim it will not change zero when switching between the reticles. I would suggest picking one and staying with it. As for battery life. I turn the sight off every time I finish shooting. Somehow it was turned back on in the case after cleaning the carbine. 2 weeks later...dead battery. Ok, not a huge deal...batteries are cheap for this sight (AAA) but the auto-shut down must have failed for the drain to occur. Like I said at the start, overall I really like this product...it is not an Aimpoint, ACOG, or Eotech...but for a "budget" sight...it is well worth the $$$$.
