As usual, Buds was awesome. The pistol looks and performs like a custom shop gun. Nice and tight and it doesn't have that 1911 rattle when shaken. I would buy another if the opportunity arose.

I purchased the Metro...
I purchased the Metro Arms Compact Commander in deep blue on 12/22 and it was delivered on 1/6... a bit longer than it normally takes from Bud's but it was around the holidays. Ad for the pistol itself, I give it 5 stars all the way. The fit and finish was very good, no play in the slide to frame fit at all. I have put approx. 400 rounds through it, about 100 of which were factory 230gr round nose FMJ, the other 300 or so have been lead round nose 230gr reloads. I did have 3 FTRTB during the first 100 rounds (factory loads) but that is normal for a break in period IMO. I installed Kimber slim rosewood grips and a Pearce rubber finger groove grip underneath them, and this thing fits my hand like it was custom made for me. This is my first office framed 1911 and definitely will not be my last. Although I think my next purchase will be one of Metro's Bullseye models with a 6" barrel. If the attention to detail on the Compact Commander is any indication it will also be a great shooter.
