A: Many people have damaged or blown up Glocks over the years with cast bullets. Problem is the "experts" that have gotten away with it for years do not have pressure test equipment available so they really do not know how close they are to flirting with disaster. Glock says no so I would do what myself and other competitive shooters do. Get an aftermarket barrel with standard rifling to shoot cast bullets.

The range of load power level ranges from mild 40S&W level to past 357 Magnum level. If so he is good. If he is entry level, I would look at the 9mm Glocks instead.
