The Baby Eagle is a...
The Baby Eagle is a superb home defense weapon, but for myself I think it's a little to cumbersome to carry for long periods to time. The sights are smack on at 25 yards, I can hit a 3" bullseye 80% of the time or within a 1" radius. Disassembly, cleaning and reassembly for me takes a little patience, it's not something to rush through. I would not recommend it be purchased as a FIRST weapon.

Great buy. Bought brand new from Buds, put 150 cheap target rounds through it immediately with no issue at all. Semi-compact might be a bit bulky for IWB daily carry, but for a larger person, or OWB open carry it wouldn't pose much of an issue. Without a mag, the polymer model is a little top heavy, but fully loaded it feels well balanced and solid. The ambidextrous slide mounted safety/decocker is easily accessible by the thumb. Easy to understand, easy to operate, definitely a good first gun. "Factory New" Ships from Buds with 2 mags, gun lock, and the manual in the plastic case.
