My first Sig, and...
My first Sig, and certainly not my last. I bought this several months ago after finding a great deal on Bud's. I have put about 1000 rounds through it now of over 5 different types of ammo, and I have not had a single issue. Some may not like the extra weight of a metal framed gun or may not like the DA/SA trigger, but I actually love both features. In fact, they're the biggest reason I bought it. I have found it to be very accurate and quick to get back on target for follow-up shots. I love it!

This is a review of the product, not Bud's service, which has always been excellent. Sig p229 is a very good gun, so I bought this TacPac package which was at a much lower price than currently. I did not notice when I received it that it was on the shelf for nearly two years. The old inventory was not a problem as the price was good, but apparently a batch of guns produced by SIG in 2013 suffers from a problem where the sear spring pin can fall out during firing and completely jam the gun, so after only a couple of hundred rounds this happened to me. Fortunately my gun range has a gunsmith on site who took care of it, but any buyer should look out for the SIGs built in 2013 for out of spec sear spring pins.
