The Springfield 1911...
The Springfield 1911 TRP is the finest handgun I have ever owned. Aesthetically it is a work of art. The Black Armory Kote and grips are both highly functional and beautiful.\r Functionally, this is a high end production pistol. Out of the box it shows flawless manufacturing, very tight fitting yet very smooth in action and trigger pull. Sights are very good and it is dead on accurate. At this point I have only put some old CCI Blazer aluminum FMJ I happen to have through it, but it functioned well. I proceeded to the police academy range yesterday and fired my annual Retired Office course with an easy 100% score. I am confident that John Browning would be impressed with this version of this classic pistol.\r \r Purchasing this Springfield through Buds at the law enforcement price was extremely simple and without any problems. They noticed my when the gun was available for purchase and I immediately secured with with a credit card and then followed up with money order. Their shipment to my local FFL dealer in Washington State was very quick. I think the whole process only took about 10 days. I highly recommend Buds.

First 1911 I've owned...
First 1911 I've owned and it is very good fitment and quality. The magwell and front checkering are big a huge plus for me. It is also very accurate, far more accurate than i am lol. Only got about 150 rounds through it so far but no hiccups yet which is surprising given how tight the slide to frame is. The only downside is the full length guide rod but that was a $30 fix with WC bulletproof plug and GI rod.
