It's a good gun. I've ran about 4-5 boxes through its and no hiccups yet. Factory modified chokes patterns surprisingly well for a cheap Charles Daly deal.

First of all, I would...
First of all, I would like to say I really like the concept of this shotgun, unfortunately quality control does not seem to be the best. I had the shotgun ship to my local FFL, when I picked it up, I glanced over it real quick and put it back in the box. After I got home and sat down and looked more carefully, I realized that the stock has a crack running from the receiver About a third of the way down the butt stock. Also the cutout in the front grip where the trigger guard and barrel release fold into the grip is cut crooked, causing the trigger guard and release to dig into the wood of the grip instead of slipping into the hole where it should. I have not contacted the manufacturer yet to see if they will give me a replacement stock. I'm assuming I will have to send it in. I am planning on using the shotgun this fall and early winter for small game season, and don't want to be without it for a prolonged period of time yet. Functionality so far has been very good, the metal fit and finish is acceptable considering it's $150 shotgun. I've been looking for a single shot 28 gauge for several years now, and really like the shotgun. I just wish the quality control was a little bit better.
