The CZ-USA CZ 527 American Synthetic Suppressor Ready in 7.62x39mm is a compact bolt-action hunting rifle built around a micro-length Mauser styled action. It features a hammer forged, factory lapped 16.5-inch threaded barrel for suppressor use, a smooth push-feed design with short extractor and plunger-style ejector, and an all-weather American synthetic stock. I got a lemon...my 527...
I got a lemon...my 527 American Suppressor Ready in 7.62x39 wouldn't go into battery...The bolt wouldn't close all the way on a round. Also, the stock was almost touching the barrel on one side. I am currently waiting 4-6 weeks on a repair of a new firearm that I won't get to use this deer season. I'm not a happy camper.

I was very hesitant to...
I was very hesitant to buy this rifle but glad I did. The finish on the rifle is very nice and the threads on the barrel are cut clean. The trigger on these CZ rifles are very interesting in a good way. I really love that double set with the target trigger, feels good and clean break each time. I haven't shot it a lot but have put cheap wolf ammo through it and was averaging an honest 1" at 100 yards out of a sled with a Lane suppressor on the barrel. A lot more ammo testing to determine if it will eat all Russian ammo or if it is partial to wolf. It loved the SSTs but that defeats the purpose of a cheap plinking rifle. Overall, I would recommend this rifle to eat up surplus steel ammo sitting around.

I purchased this rifle...
I purchased this rifle from Bud's on 5/24/17 and picked it up at my LGS on 5/30. I mounted a Nikon 2-7 BDC and got it out to my brothers place a day later. The first ammo I tried in it was some Tula steel cased 7.62x39 and I was really disappointed. That ammo was all over the place and I thought I had a rifle I wasn't going to be happy with. I then tried some Federal 123 grain jacketed soft point and got a very nice surprise. After I got the scope sighted in, I proceeded to place three shots inside of an .8 inch group at 100 yards. With a higher power scope I'm sure that group can be quite a bit tighter. I'm a happy camper with this little CZ.
