The DPMS Retro 16 inch 5.56mm 1:7 carbine rifle is built in the classic A1/A2 style with an AR-15-pattern forged 7075-T6 upper and lower, a carbine-length gas system, and a chrome-moly phosphate-coated 16-inch barrel. It pairs an A1-style carbine handguard with an F-marked front sight base and an A2-style flash hider for traditional iron-sight handling.
