A: This is a newly manufacturer rifle Hobert. It should have all functioning features right out of the box.

A: While I don't have experience with this firearm I have a few rugers and have always been pleased with the quality for the price. You could call ruger and ask them what the turn around time would be if you had any problems with it but I'm sure it would t be months.

A: Ben, the 49828 with the Adjustable harmonic dampener will allow you to tailor barrel harmonics for better accuracy over a wider range of ammunition. "In other words, match the barrel harmonics for a given load" for better accuracy potential. Other than this, they are effectively the same gun.
