The Traditions Outfitter G3 is a break-action single shot cartridge rifle chambered in .450 Bushmaster, built for accurate big-game hunting. It features a 22 inch Lothar Walther barrel and the Elite XT trigger system with a rebounding hammer, captive half cock, and a manual cross-bolt trigger safety for controlled operation. Designed for easy handling, the lightweight synthetic-stock rifle opens to load and unload with the cross-bolt safety engaged, and larger calibers including .450 Bushmaster are equipped with a muzzle brake to help reduce recoil.

Received gun quick,looks and comes up nice put vortex crossfire 11 3-9, on it with tradition base and high mount ,put few rounds through it yesterday,shoots great well balanced , very nice hunting rig!

Wanted one of these...
Wanted one of these for a long time and finally found the deal I wanted. First impression the gun is very well built not super heavy but weights just enough the kick wont be to bad. I got a vortex crossfire 2 4x12x44 to put on it. Had the gun two days took it to the range to sight it in and the first shot I was amazed! Recoil wasn't as bad as I expected in fact I think it is less then a 12ga. Ive used traditions muzzleloaders for years and now have the rifle....I just say I'd definitely own more from them!
