The rifle is a good quality, moderately priced gun. I would recommend it for a first-time hunting rifle owner. The plastic magazines are a concern as to their durability and longevity.The Vortex scope is appropriate for the rifle. Trigger pull feels a little heavy. Reasonable shot group right out of the box.
